One day, he built a pavilion called "Virtue Manor" (德庄) and behind the manor lay a spring known as "Spring of Benevolence" (仁泉). The water of the spring was clear, sweet, and ceaselessly flowed.
Mogai gathered the people to discuss, saying, "In this life, one must practice benevolence and righteousness, cultivate virtue, and perform good deeds to receive blessings and longevity. Today, I wish to present this Virtue Manor to the world, to express my heart, and hope that future generations will emulate it."
Upon hearing these words, the people were deeply moved. They together renovated the Virtue Manor, revered the spring as sacred, and erected a stone monument in front of the manor inscribed with the words: "The virtue of the Spring of Benevolence will be praised for generations; the heart of Virtue Manor will be eternalized in the world."
Since then, Virtue Manor became a scenic spot in Zhucheng, and the name of the Spring of Benevolence spread far and wide. Mogai's name was also recorded in history, becoming a model for future generations, for all eternity.
